2015-10-16 Palomar Medical Center Visit

On Friday, Oct. 16, 2015 our club was hosted by Michelle Pius, to visit and tour the Palomar Medical Center. We took the emergency elevator to the top of the building and was able to walk on the Helipad and see all of Escondido, from an eagles point of view! It was really nice. Some, like Amir, was able to locate his place of business. We then broke up into two groups and saw other aspects of the Hospital, ending with a nice lunch from the cafe. As Michelle suggested, it is always nice to visit 'your' hospital walking in on your own two feet when you don't need their services, so that when you do require their assistance, you know what to expect. Escondido East Rotary Club thanks Michelle and the entire staff at Palomar Medical Center that made our visit so nice and educational. It is good to know, if and when an emergency happens, we will be in good hands.
